Since establishing their own 'Grey Day' New Balance has been pushing the agenda on the unofficial corporate colour.

Whilst the heritage styles are well-know for the monochrome palette, more modern versions of the NB lineup are not usually treated to the grey-out. For this year NB looks to change that with this limited edition of the current Fresh Foam 1080v13.

Dubbed the 1080 'utility' what we get is a combination of new-world performance tech with a touch of NB tradition through the addition of premium suede overlays.  This combined with a neutral colour palette gives this on-road runner a completely different attitude, allowing it to sit in that small space between performance and casual—a feature which made the original 990 series so timeless.
